The Gator Small Cap Portfolio is a seperately managed account portfolio of 30 stocks with market capitalizations under $3 billion.  We buy stocks of companies with strong business franchises and business model we understand.  We like to buy stocks with assymetrical risk/reward payoffs.  Then, we own them for 3 to 5 years.  This results in annual portfolio turnover of about 25% which reduces taxable transactions.  We detail our recent portfolio transactions in our quarterly Portfolio Manager Commentary.
