Derek Pilecki, CFA

In 2008, Derek Pilecki founded Gator Capital Management. He currently manages a long/short financials strategy, small-cap strategy, and various other individual portfolios.
From 2002 through 2008, Derek was a member of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Growth Equity Team. While at GSAM, Derek was the Co-Chair of the Investment Committee for the Growth Team and a Portfolio Manager. As a member of the portfolio management team responsible for the Goldman Sachs Capital Growth Fund, he provided primary coverage of the Financials sector.
Prior to GSAM, Derek was an Analyst at Clover Capital Management in Rochester, NY and Burridge Growth Partners in Chicago, IL. He covered the Financials sector at both firms. Before entering graduate school, Derek worked at Fannie Mae providing interest rate risk analysis for the company's mortgage investment portfolio.
Derek holds an MBA with honors in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from Duke University. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
Chris Pilecki, CFA

In 2014, Chris Pilecki joined Gator Capital Management as a Trader and Quantitative Analyst.
From 2008 through 2014, Chris was a Trader at Chesapeake Capital Corporation where he gained extensive experience trading equity index, fixed income, foreign currency (FX) and commodity futures contracts on global exchanges. While at Chesapeake, Chris also was involved in trading system research.
Chris was an analyst at Atlantic Capital Management in Richmond, VA from 2003 to 2008. At Atlantic, Chris followed small and mid-cap companies in the technology and energy sectors. He also worked at Shockoe Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund, and in the sell side research department of Wachovia Securities prior to joining Atlantic Capital.
Chris holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
Erik Anderson, CFA

Erik Anderson joined Gator Capital Management with over ten years of experience acting as CFO and COO for several hedge funds and investment managers with assets ranging from $100M to $500M. His current responsibilities include oversight and management of financial reporting, shareholder services, and all other back and middle office functions for GCM.
Most recently, Erik served as CFO for Praesidis Advisors, an investment firm that manages hedge funds focused exclusively on the North American power and utility sectors. Prior to Praesidis, he served as the CFO and a founding employee of Jove Partners. The launch included building out all back office controls and systems that were in place for the firm. From 2003 through 2005, Erik was CFO for Imperium Capital Management.
Erik earned his BS in Finance from Florida State University. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

Alexis joined Gator Capital Management in 2014 and oversees marketing firm wide. Alexis' responsibilities include creation and branding of materials, website management, client outreach, and due diligence.
Alexis earned her BA in English from Florida State University and her Master of Arts in Management from Wake Forest Univesrtiy.

Beau Audirsch joined Gator Capital Management in February of 2013. At Gator, Beau is a Portfolio Accountant.
Prior to joining Gator, Beau worked for MAC Investment Management. Beau joined MAC in 2011, where his responsibilities included accounting and back-office operations. At Gator, Beau's primary responsibility involves portfolio accounting, as well as assisting in matters related to GIPS compliance.
Beau studied at St. Petersburg College.
